O’Maro Chilli Recipe

Dice the onion then cook that and the garlic until soft, add tomato puree and give a stir then add mince and cook until brown, stirring consistently

Strain any leftover liquid and add Chilli powder, Cumin, Paprika, Oregano, Cayenne, Chopped tomatoes, Strained kidney beans and O’Maro. Stir thoroughly

Bring to the boil and allow to simmer for about 30 minutes or until desired consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serving Suggestion
Served on top of Mexican style rice and topped with cheese.

• 650g lean mince
• 1/2 white onion
• 2 tbsp tomato puree
• 2 cloves minced garlic
• 1 tbsp chilli powder
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp cayenne pepper

• 1 can kidney beans
